NO WAITING IN VAIN AT ROBERTA’S

Made it out to Bushwick last night before going to see, Star Trek Into Darkness.  Had a late dinner at Roberta’s and it was so worth the nearly two-hour wait.  Duck prosciutto with house-made Italian bread, a salad of greens with asparagus, buttermilk dressing and a tempura-fried soft-shell crab salad.  This was followed by a Crispy Glover pizza and a grilled  Mangalitsa Pork Shoulder with Roasted Sweet Potatoes, charred Endive and whole mustard.  I could have had another order of that pork shoulder.  It was smokey, fat and so satisfying.

Popped into Noodle Asia at the Venetian for a late lunch, or eArly dinner with my girl Justine. She left us in New York to live the desert life back in October. I must say, the food at Noodle Asia is very, very, good. Try it next time you’re in Vegas.
